We use a British Council registered homestay agency to ensure that all of our standards are met.
The families can usually cater for most meal plans and requirements. Inform us in advance of anything you need and we will make sure that your stay is a pleasant and comfortable one.
The homestay agency ensures that the accommodation provided is clean, safe, comfortable and friendly. During the students’ stay, the hosts treat the students as full members of their household. Meals times are spent together with the family which is always the best time to practise your new vocabulary.
We do not allow more than four students to be accommodated in the homestay accommodation at any one time. We also avoid mixing speakers of the same language in the same homestay.
We try to make sure that the homestay accommodation is a maximum of 4.5 miles away from the school or one bus/train journey. Ideally this will be less than 40 minutes from the school.
Minimum booking is 1 week (plus course). We do not offer an ‘accommodation only’ service – you must enrol onto a course to book the accommodation through the school.
